:: What's the origin of 2XM Labs' name?
Having its roots in greek tragedies, the phrase "Deux Ex Machina" describes an event introduced suddenly to resolve a situation or untangle a plot (such as an angel suddenly appearing to solve an impossible situation). We all liked this concept as it describes well our role as software consultants: we will enter a project, hit the ground running, and bring solutions to any software problem.
We initially wanted to name our company DeusExMachina, but it is too easy to pronounce it incorrectly and project an X-Rated image. So we replaced Deus by 2, having the same pronunciation in many languages, and added the letters XM for Ex Machina. Hence the birth of 2XM Labs.
